Comments

Comment is an optional File Share permission that grants internal and external users the ability to have threaded discussions about documents.



Comments

These comments are represented as objects within M-Files. The following aliases are required for Comments:

Objects​

  • Comment (TI.MConnect.Object.ThreadedComment)

Classes​

  • Comment (TI.MConnect.Class.ThreadedComment)

Properties​

  • Comment (TI.MConnect.Property.Comment)
  • Commented Document (TI.MConnect.Property.CommentedDocument)
  • Commenting User (TI.MConnect.Property.CommentingUser)
  • Parent Comment (TI.MConnect.Property.ParentComment)

Once everything is in place, comments can be enabled in Global Settings and will be available as a permission on the file share:
